In this third volume of the series, we pick up where we left off in Holly’s journals in July of 1975. Angeline has returned from India to Quebec and Holly drives up to Montreal to be with her. They go to St Eustache where she meets and falls in love with Gilbert, the younger brother of Normande. He inspires her to write the title track (Tu Sais Que Je T’Aime) for him, which she sang busking on the streets of Montreal. After a long go-go dancing job in the far north of Quebec, Holly and Angeline return to New York in the fall with 100 hits of mescaline and cash to live. Holly brings her to the home of Fred & Claude in Brooklyn, and the collision of her two worlds brings unexpected outcomes.
